Ladies' Christmas Party
The ladies had a wonderful Christmas brunch on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004 at
11:00 AM. They had French toast with toppings; sausage, grits, and various types
of fruit salad to eat. Margaret Freitag beautifully decorate the fellowship hall
in the theme of "Celebrate Emmanuel, God With Us." Mrs. Barbara Creed, the wife
of Pastor Mickey Creed of Colonial Baptist Church in Stafford, VA, gave a
devotional entitled, "Complete in Him." She emphasized the fact that Jesus
Christ is completely God and completely Man, and, when we are saved, we can
depend upon Him to make up our personal inadequacies. After the devotional, the
ladies had a fun time discovering who their secret pals were for the year; those
ladies who did not have a secret pal this year brought exchange gifts. Also, the
ladies of the church gave cards with gifts of money inside them to Janice and
Wanda, the two pastors' wives. It was a nice morning and a wonderful way to
start out the Christmas season in a godly, uplifting way. (click a picture for a

The Ladies' Bible Study had their Christmas Party on Thursday, December 2,
