Cox Baby Shower - August 5, 2006

Over 30 people attended the baby shower for Becky Cox on Saturday, August 5, from 2-4 PM. Sarah and Christa MacAvoy planned the shower with  a "pink" theme, since John and Becky are having a baby girl. We had strawberries, watermelon, cheesecakes, and even pink drink for our refreshments. The fellowship hall looked pretty in pink. Sarah and Christa even encouraged the ladies and girls who attended to wear some pink!

We played some fun games. A favorite was a game where Sarah read the book, Are You My Mother? We played musical chairs every time the words "baby" or "mother" were read. Janice gave a devotional on Psalm 139. The shower was a blessing to Becky, and a good time of Christian fellowship for us all.
