Ladies' Christmas Party - December 14, 2007

The ladies had a wonderful time together at their Christmas party! Kathi Banholzer was in charge of the party, and she and Casey Knupp decorated and set up the fellowship hall in a very cozy, Christmas theme. The ladies brought a delicious variety of snacks which we enjoyed. After eating and fellowship, we sang a couple of Christmas carols and had a devotional by Janice MacAvoy entitled “Christmas: God With Us.” Casey Knupp and Christa MacAvoy played “Carol of the Bells” together on the keyboard and Becky Cox read a poem about having the right kind of values at Christmas. Several ladies gave testimonies of how their secret pal was a blessing to them through the year.  We then exchanged gifts and found out who each person’s secret pal was this year! The ladies finished the night by helping Diana Oakley decorate the fellowship hall for the Christmas banquet on Sunday night.
