Mother's Day Brunch - May 19, 2007

The theme of the Ladies' Brunch this year was "Let Your Light So Shine." Debbie Blevins, Diana Oakley and Carey Crosby decorated the fellowship hall beautifully so that it looked like the seashore. The ladies brought various muffins, coffee cakes, fruits, casseroles and juices. Mrs. Charlotte Sumpter was our speaker. She gave a wonderful devotional challenging us to, first of all, make sure that we have the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior. Then she encouraged us to keep our lives clean by confessing our sins to Him and reading God's Word daily. That way our lives can be a brightly shining light pointing people to Christ.

Debbie Blevins led us in two fun games and we also sang three songs together. Carey Crosby took pictures of each of the groups of ladies and girls who attended.
