Secret Pal Party - December 5, 2008

The ladies had a really nice time at the Christmas party on Friday, December 5^th. Kathi Banholzer was in charge of the decorations and the evening. We began with singing a Christmas carol. Then we enjoyed the snacks. Kathi made a Christmas punch to go with our delicious refreshments. (Check her out in the final picture!!)

Janice gave a devotional on Philippians 2:4, and two ladies closed in prayer after the devotional, asking the Lord to help us to be godly secret pals next year.

Then came the time we had been waiting for: the unveiling of the secret pals for 2008! There were quite a few surprises, and it was a lot of fun. The evening ended up with the ladies drawing the name of their new secret pal from the “Christmas bowl.”

Our next ladies’ activity will be a Dove Fellowship at Beth Oliver’s house on Saturday, January 10^th, 2009, at 4 PM. Please make plans to be there, and bring a friend!
