Fall Revival Services - November 7-12, 2010
This week we host the DeGarde Evangelistic Team. Ron &
Kristin DeGarde have 4 children: Abby, Alyssa, Andrew, and Austin. John &
Sharon Weigle have 3 children: Gina, Jack and Julia. The DeGarde family
has been with us for 2 full revival weeks in years past. The Weigle family
served here as assistant pastor for 3 years. These days have been a
wonderful time of remembering and refreshing for all of us. In addition,
we have enjoyed prayer meetings, special choir rehearsals, a ladies'
brunch, pew-packing, an extensive resource table, a children's program,
and the Faithful to 5 challenge.

Ladies' Brunch
About 20 ladies and girls (and one little boy) were
at our ladies’ brunch on Thursday, November 11th. Kristin
DeGarde and Sharon Weigle were our special guests, and even Amanda Bright,
the young lady who is travelling with the DeGardes this year, was able to
attend with Abby and Alyssa DeGarde for the beginning part of the brunch!
The church ladies brought good breakfast foods that we shared. Then
Kristin and Sharon each gave a testimony of how the Lord has saved them
and how He has worked and guided in their lives. Sharon and Kristin each
encouraged us to avail ourselves of God’s grace that is offered to
believers and to trust in the Lord and keep our mind stayed on Him in the
midst of our daily and life responsibilities. After Kristin and Sharon’s
devotionals, several ladies and one teen gave testimonies of how the
revival meetings have been a blessing to them this week. We took a little
time for questions for Kristin and Sharon, and then Valerie Hatcher closed
our brunch with a prayer for our guests and for their families. The Lord
gave us a really sweet time of fellowship. Thank you to each of you who
made the effort to be there.
Please mark your calendars for Friday, December 3rd,
at 7 PM, when we will have our ladies’ Christmas party. All are welcome,
and it will be a great time as we celebrate the birth of our wonderful
Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
