Dove Fellowship - August 28, 2010

            Around twenty ladies and girls attended the Dove Fellowship at Cindy Knupp’s house on Saturday, August 28^th, at 5 PM. The Lord gave us a beautiful evening out in the country together! Cindy, always a very gracious and welcoming hostess, had hot dogs for everyone, which people were able to cook over a fire in the Knupp’s back yard. The ladies brought side dishes or desserts to go with the hot dogs, and we had a lovely time of fellowship as we ate our meal.

            Following the meal, we had a time of devotions. Cindy shared her testimony about how the Lord has worked in her own heart over the years about witnessing to people about Christ. She then shared a method that she has found to be very effective in her personal witnessing to other people. Cindy and Belinda Sauer then did a short “role play” about how they have witnessed to people as a team.

            After the devotion, Cindy provided the “fixins” for making s’mores. We enjoyed making them and then sitting around for more fellowship, inside or outside her home.

            Be sure to check the web site for more times for ladies’ get-togethers. These are good occasions for fellowship, and also are good opportunities for us to invite friends and neighbors to attend with us.
