Session 1:  God as Creator:  "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."  (Genesis 1:1)

 

Session 2:  God as Ruler:  "How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation."  (Daniel 4:3)

 

Session 3:  God as Saviour:  “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thess. 5:9)

 

Session 4:  God as HelperLet us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. ” (Heb 4:16)

 

Session 5:  God as JudgeBut God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another” (Psalms 75:7)

 

Session 6:  God is HolyThou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity...”(Habakkuk 1:13a)

 

Session 7:  God is JustBut that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith” (Gal. 3:11)

 

Session 8:  God is Love:  “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him" (1 John 4:9)

 

Session 9:  Loving GodWe love him, because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19)

 

Session 10:  Fearing God:  “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man” (Ecc. 12:13)

 

Session 11:  Trusting God:  “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isa. 26:3)

 

Session 12:  Obeying GodBut this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you” (Jer. 7:23)

 

Session 13:  Serving God:  “Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you” (1 Sam. 12:24)
