How to Live Abundantly
Introduction:

An abundant life in Christ is offered to all believers.

An abundant life in Christ is marked by peace, grace, and
God’s goodness.
Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with
all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the
power of the Holy Ghost.
I. Abundant Life “We Can Have a Life
of God’s Abundance”
A.) Where Does It Come From? “God”
B.) What Does It Consist Of ? “Joy and Peace”

II. Abundant God “God is a God of Abundance”

A.) He is Abundant in Mercy
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us
again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead,
- The Scope of His Mercy is Abundant “New every
Morning”

Abundance of Frogs or Locust)
- The Object of His’ Mercy is Us
- The Agent of His’ Mercy is Christ
B.) He is Abundant in Grace
Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death
reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the
gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
- This means that grace is freely bestowed
because all the demands of holiness have been satisfied.

C.) He is Abundant in Comfort
2 Cor. 1:3-5 Blessed be God, even the Father of
our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all
(True) comfort; Who comforteth us
in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in
any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also
aboundeth by Christ.

- He Gives Us the Ability to Give Comfort to

D.) He is Abundant in Power
Ephes. 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do
exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the
power that worketh in us,
- “is able” (ILL: Just because He doesn’t,
doesn’t mean He can’t)
- “exceedingly” “above” (“He is bigger than us)
- “ask” (“We can ask”)
- “worketh in us” (“That same power is in us”)
Conclusion:
1. Are you living a life of abundance in Christ.
