Mothers' Day Brunch - May 9, 2015
“Hats Off to Mom!” was the theme of our Mother’s Day Brunch on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Natalee Wilson was in charge of the event, and she did a lovely job. We had a good turnout of ladies, teens, and children. The ladies brought some delicious food, including a French toast dish with cream cheese and blueberry pie filling on top; a delicious tossed salad (in one of the pictures) prepared with love; and some fantastic Indian biryani! Janice MacAvoy gave the devotional on Romans 1:16-17. She asked two questions: “Are you saved?” and “Are you walking by faith in Christ?” Natalee handed out some cute coloring pages (having to do with a mom wearing a number of paper doll hats) to keep the children occupied during devotional.
After the devotional, Natalee had a cute word search game. She gave us ample time to work on it, and we had good fellowship as we did. Natalee then gave out door prizes to a number of the ladies and teens who attended.
It was a good time of warm Christian fellowship. Thank you to each of you who took the time to come!
