Mother's Day Brunch 2017
The ladies brunch on Saturday, May 13, was a real blessing. The Lord gave us a nice cool day, and we had a good crowd of ladies and young people attending. Diana Oakley planned the brunch, and she had several ladies and young people help her get everything ready. The fellowship hall was decorated with red, black, and white and the theme was "A Measure of Faith."
We began with food and fellowship. Then Kathi Banholzer, Kristi Parker, and Becky Jaciuk shared Scripture and testimonies of how God has helped them through various recent trials in their lives. They each pointed to Jesus Christ as their Strength. They gave the way of salvation clearly for any person there who had not yet put personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only Savior from our sins.
Following the devotions, we played a few fun games. Then ladies and young people helped clean up the fellowship hall so that "many hands made light work."
Please mark your calendars for the next ladies' Dove Fellowship on Saturday, June 24. More information about that will come in the next several weeks.
