Ladies' Christmas Party, 12/14/19
The theme for this year‘s ladies’ Christmas Dove fellowship was “The Miracle of Christmas”. Kathi Banholzer planned and decorated the fellowship hall along with help from Becky and Caitlyn Cox.
We had a really warm time of fellowship together. Of course, we had some delicious breakfast casseroles, fruit, and muffins to eat. Theresa Hatcher gave a wonderful devotion about how God’s prophets foretold of Jesus’ virgin birth (and even of the place where He would be born) many years before it happened. Theresa pointed out that often in our day we think of Christmas miracles as being things such as broken relationships restored, someone finding their true love, etc. She said that these are all true blessings but the real miracle of Christmas is that God became a man. Jesus came to the earth to bring salvation to anyone who will believe on Him. And this miracle will not only bring benefits for time but also for eternity. We can have fellowship with Jesus Christ, God the Son, the Miracle of Christmas.
After the devotional, we had our ornament exchange, and then Becky and her daughters gave out door prizes. We appreciate the ladies reaching out in Christian love and friendship to each other today. Make plans for our next Dove fellowship in March, which will be hosted by Kelli Rose.
