Ladies' Retreat
Five ladies went to the fall retreat at Rapidan Baptist Camp on Saturday, September 25. Sherry Anderson did a wonderful job driving the church van out to the camp. The Lord gave us a beautiful day and great fellowship together on the drive.
As always, the camp staff provided a delicious breakfast and lunch. The dining room was decorated so beautifully with the theme of “Meditations of the Heart”.
Amy Herbster, whose husband is the Dean of Bible at Maranatha Baptist University, gave two challenging devotionals about “Freedom from Damaging Emotions: Turning Weapons into Tools”.
We did a craft where we made DIY bath salts; we had an hour of free time before lunch; and we went to Yoder’s market afterwards and bought some goodies to bring back home.
The next ladies’ retreat will be on April 23rd, 2022. The theme will be “Fresh Daily”, and the speaker will be Heather Murray. You can register online at www.camprapidan.com to attend.
