Rapidan Baptist Camp Ladies' Retreat 2022
The Lord gave us a beautiful day as twelve ladies attended the Fall ladies’ retreat at Rapidan Baptist Camp on Saturday, September 24, 2022. There were ~130 ladies at the camp for the day.
The theme was “A Light to My Path.” Mrs. Kristy Wright, a pastor’s wife from Berryville, Virginia, was our speaker for the day. Her first session was about Psalm 119:1-8. She pointed out that we cannot be rightly related to Christ if we are not readers, lovers, and obeyers of His Word. In her second session, she talked about how God uses the waiting times of our lives for His glory. Her devotional was from John chapter 11, when Jesus waited to go to help Lazarus when he was sick. Kristy pointed out that Jesus waited to go to the home so that God could be glorified through the situation.
We played some fun games through the day; made a craft; ate delicious food; walked around the camp; and visited some area stores such as Yoder’s Market. It was a wonderful day of Christian fellowship.
