Dove Fellowship - June 29, 2019

Merline Martin hosted the ladies' Dove Fellowship at her home on June 29. After some time spent visiting together, Merline began the activities by introducing a couple of lively table games. Everyone enjoyed the fun of watching and cheering as each of the participants took turns at racing the clock (or one another) to finish each challenge. Following the games, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal of various dishes provided by each of the ladies in attendance. Caren Cummings closed the gathering with a devotional based on Matthew 22:34-39, the response Jesus gives to one of the Pharisee's when asked which of the commandments in the law of Moses is the greatest: to love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. Caren offered the reminder that being a godly wife, mother, or daughter rests on falling in love with Jesus. She encouraged everyone present to read through the Psalms with the intention of taking notes on all of the attributes of God as a means of spending time to know Him better.
