Baby Shower for Jennifer Estabrook, February 13, 2016
Ladies, you did a wonderful job supporting Jennifer Estabrook today as she continues to prepare for the new little daughter that the Lord is giving her and Darrell! From Michelle Donahue opening their home for the shower; to Casey Jukkola helping with the preparations for the day; to every lady and child who came: It was a wonderful time together!
Bonnie gave a good devotional about the older women teaching the younger women to love their husbands, and the younger women teaching their daughters (and sons) to love their Daddy. Bonnie made bookmarks for everyone and then provided colored pencils for us to write out the Bible references (Proverbs 17:6 and Titus 2:4) as well as any pertinent thoughts from the devotional to help us remember to do this. We ate some delicious food that the ladies brought, played some fun games, and enjoyed watching Jennifer open her lovely gifts.
We also praise the Lord for the good weather He provided for this day! This time of year, you never know if you could have a snowstorm on the day of a special event!
