Ladies' Craft Fellowship, 11/5/22
On Saturday, November 5 the ladies and girls gathered at the church fellowship hall for a fun morning of learning and creating some Christmas-themed crafts. We made some “snowy” luminaries from mason jars, and some adorable sock snowmen, decked out in sweaters, caps, and scarves! It was fun to see all of the creativity of the ladies! We also enjoyed a hot chocolate bar and cookies on what was an 80-degree November day (but it was still good!). Kathi Eshleman brought the devotional message on “Keeping the Main Thing the Main Thing” from Luke 10:38-42 and Psalm 27:4. She told a true story about deconstructing a beautiful Christmas centerpiece only to find out that what was removed was actually the foundation of the centerpiece. So many times in our lives it becomes evident that the “adornments” in our lives are just that - adornments. It is our relationship with Jesus Christ that is the foundation for the adornments, not the other way around. We were thankful for this good time of learning and fellowship together as ladies!
